Tell-A-Guy Campaign

Are you a man who is interested in possibly changing the life of a child?  We hope so!  Please read about the mission of our campaign and then give us a call or send us an email to get more information on how to become a Big Brother!

Check out the What's New page for information on our upcoming After Hours events!

Super Bowl Coaches Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith said it best in the BBBS public service announcement aired during the Super Bowl game, “many kids do not have someone to help them compete in life”.   Though Big Brothers Big Sisters is always looking for volunteers from all walks of life, right now there is a greater need for men of all ages and backgrounds. Research shows that having the positive influence of a Big Brother makes a real difference in the life of a boy.  And those who volunteer will tell you how they wish they had decided to become a Big Brother sooner.

We want to stress the great need for male volunteers in 2007.

Over 40 children are waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister in the Community Based Program and an additional 60 in the School-Based Mentoring Program.  This number increases weekly.  The need, particularly for male volunteers, is great.  Our national office, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, has launched a new volunteer recruiting campaign, focusing on male recruitment, the Tell-A-Guy Campaign.

Sponsored in part by Chad Pennington's 1st and 10 Foundation.
