BFSK Peer2Peer Fundraising FAQ
We ask fundraising teams attending our event to raise $750 per bowling lane. Each lane can fit up to 5 people - so the go-to way to participate is to form a fundraising team of 5, meaning each person only needs to raise $150.
That’s amazing! Top fundraisers and teams will be recognized and rewarded with exciting prizes. Plus, for every minimum goal you meet, you can add another lane and invite more family and friends to join you at Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
Nope! You can get your team page started now and recruit your team members as you go! You can also fundraise as an individual and then invite 5 friends or family members to celebrate with you at the event!
Yes, everyone who registers to fundraise will create or join a team page—but you can be your own team!
Once you have selected the peer-to-peer fundraising option a member of our BBBS team will reach out to help you create your fundraising page through our giving platform Givebutter. You can use your team page to collect donations, share on your social media platforms, etc.— and have your donations tracked towards your goal.
Plus, having a team page gives friends or family the option to join your fundraising effort, even from afar. However, you may collect donations through cash and/or check and present them at the event. Having your team registered helps us confirm the number of lanes we have reserved!
Absolutely! You can still fundraise on your own or with a team to support local kids.
Great! Anyone can join your fundraising team, but only 5 people can attend per bowling lane. If you have more than 5 people who want to attend, simply raise enough for multiple lanes.
Yes, please! Your office can create a fundraising team or become an event sponsor.
